Police raided an industrial building on Pickmere Lane at 2.30 pm on Wednesday, September 9, seizing a professional cannabis farm containing roughly 650 plants at various growth stages.
Officers found specialised heat lights, ventilation fans, irrigation systems and discovered that the electricity supply had been tampered with.
If processed, the crop would have been valued at up to £220,000, according to police.
Sgt Rogan Ogden of the Northwich Local Policing Unit said no arrests have been made but investigations are ongoing.
He said the operation demonstrated the value of public intelligence and that a significant quantity of cannabis had been removed from the streets of Northwich and the wider area.
Ogden added that the supply and use of illegal drugs have an incredibly negative impact on the community and that the fight against this behaviour is never over.
He pledged continued action to stop such activity and noted that enquiries remain active.
